Greetings, Pirates.

At yesterday’s meeting , we decided to push forward with a proposal for the Pirate National Committee. This particular proposal would enable a temporary ‘steering council’ to take the reins and begin moving us forward – the primary goal (other than managing day-to-day operations) would be to ensure the timely development of a permanent PNC constitution. The council would consist of one representative from each of the active state organizations, plus one ‘at-large’ representative.

The official time of voting will be from 6:00 PM PST Monday 2/6 – 6:00 PM PST Tuesday 2/7…that is, from Monday evening to the beginning of next week’s USPP meeting. This coming meeting will be moderated by jokeefe of the Massachusetts Pirate Party..

The vote will be held on this website and will require that you register. If you have not registered yet, please do so by Saturday 2/4; this is because on midnight Saturday night, we will cut off registration for us.pirate.is accounts until the voting period is finished.

Please go to https://pnc.piratenpad.de/14 and contribute to the proposal. It will be finalized by the end of Saturday night and will be up for all to consider before being held to a vote.
