ICYMI: Updates from the 10/4 Meeting

 ICYMI

Arizona – Arizona met and discussed new bylaws proposals for board member eligibility, discussed a platform proposal for Stop Killing Games/the Internet, and formed an Outreach action plan to improve outreach efforts.

Conference Committee – Conference committee met to discuss the 2027 Pirate National Conference, which will take place in Mobile, AL come June 2027. Emails were sent and ideas were discussed regarding itineraries. Restaurants, venue hosting locations, travel plans, etc. were discussed.

Florida – Nothing to report.

Illinois – Signature collections continued for the Midlothian Village Board of Trustees campaign. Business will continue on Wednesday.

Indiana – Nothing to report.

IT Committee – Nothing to report.

Maryland – No attendee, nothing to report.

Massachusetts – No attendee, nothing to report.

Ohio – Ohio had a 2nd meeting on 10/1, nominating officers and planning general organization. Plans were made for next month’s meeting. Candidates Tim Grady and Michael Veloff are actively working to help the growth of the party.

Outreach Committee – Nothing to report.

 Pennsylvania – Nothing to report.

Pirate National Committee – Meeting minutes were approved from the 9.27 meeting. There is currently a vacancy on the board, as Lookout and Capt. Emeritus Joseph Onoroski has resigned from his position. An election to fill in the vacant Lookout position has been set for the Oct. 18th meeting.

Platform Committee – the Platform Committee presented a “Housing and Transit” plank for review. The PNC discussed ideas and sent the plank back to the Platform Committee for refinement.

 Vetting Committee – Nothing to report.
