ICYMI
Arizona – The AZPP had a few updates, coming directly from AZ Capt. Blase Henry:
• Sons of Liberty livestream: I was personally a guest on the most recent Sons of Liberty livestream where we talked about many things such as the Pirate Party, my campaign(which we will get to in a moment), among many other things. You can watch livestream here.
• Outreach & Committee Updates: The only thing to report is to work on the vps and come back to its progress in the next two weeks.
• Write-In Campaign dead and suspended: This is the biggest piece of news this week and for those who haven’t seen the announcement, the write in campaign is dead and suspended. The short of it is that I found out I made a neglectful mistake a while back that made me disqualified as a write in candidate. Meaning any write in votes for me will not count because in arizona you need to fully registered and meet all the check boxes. I neglectfully missed one and will not be counted. It’s a shock and a whirlwind to handle but we must accept the reality now and move forward for next time.
• October 17th No Kings Day tabling: No Kings Day is here again and coming on October 17th and we plan to table there this time. No Kings Day is a special protest against the current administration and representing the Pirate Party there is paramount. As it is a wonderful opportunity for plenty more outreach and to recruit more pirates to our crew. We will provide more details by the next meeting.
• Plunder Hunger Food Drive & Toy Drive: We talked about the plans for holidays of hosting Plunder Hinger again for Thanksgiving and a Toy Drive for Christmas. We would like to host such drives for the benefit and betterment of our communities. We would need to ask local businesses if they would be interested in having any of our drive boxes there. Something we would have to do our due diligence on.
Florida – No updates.
Illinois – Signature collection was a success; the amount nearly tripled. Collections will continue for the Midlothian, IL Village Board of Trustees election, and the filing will take place in November. Less than 100 signatures are needed for this race.
