ICYMI: Updates from the 9/27 Meeting

 ICYMI

 Arizona – AZPP has been focusing on Outreach and Campaign efforts, with special efforts made to boost Outreach.

 Bylaws – A potential bylaws change regarding conflict resolution was brought forward by Lookout Joseph Onoroski. While the suggested bylaws change is seemingly not going to move forward, a decision was made to build sort of “How to” guides for PNC Board Members.

Finances – Treasurer Eli McGee reported on our standings, with FEC filings made and our balance reported on. A copy of the public filing will be made available on the Pirate Party Wiki.

 Florida – During the 9/27 FLPP meeting, the Florida Pirates elected a new state party secretary, Seth Prome. The FLPP also voted to oppose Amendment 3 on the November ballot.

 Illinois – The signature collecting for the Midlothian Village Board of Trustee campaign will resume on Wednesday, 9/31.

 Indiana – Nothing to report.

 IT Committee – Nothing to report.

 Maryland – Rep not present, nothing to report.

 Massachusetts – The last MAPP meeting was cancelled. The meeting schedule is planned to return to normal.

 Ohio – Nothing to report.

 Pennsylvania – Rep not present, nothing to report.

 Platform Committee – Platform is actively working on a housing and zoning reform plank, though presented nothing during this meeting. Worth noting is the comment directed towards platform chair Lily Boyt: “LVT is a pro-privacy tax, just saying.”

 Press Committee – Nothing to report.

 Outreach Committee – Outreach attempted to meet, but failed to formally get the meeting started. Nothing else to report.

 Young Pirates USA – Nothing to report, though a Captain’s Call was made for anyone interested in getting involved to do so.
